1. Egg →2.First stage of larvae→3.Second stage of larvae→4.final stage of larvae→ 5.Pupa →6.Adult
The female silk moth lays eggs, from which hatch larvae which are called caterpillars or silkworms.
They grow in size and when the caterpillar is ready to enter the next stage of its life history called pupa, it first weaves a net to hold itself. Then it swings its head from the side to side and secrets fibre made of a protein which hardens on exposure to air and becomes silk fibre. Soon the caterpillar completely covers itself by silk fibres and turns into pupa. This covering is known as cocoon. The further development of the pupa into moth continues inside the cocoon.

Cyclone: (i) A Cyclone is an area of closed, circular fluid motion rotating in the same direction as the Earth. Most circulations are centered on areas of low atmospheric pressure. Mostly take place on water.
(ii) Shape of cyclone is closed, circular fluid motion. The center is known as an eye.
(iii) Tropical Cyclones can range anywhere from 32 mph to 157 mph.
Tornado: (i) A tornado is a violent rotating column of air that is contact with the ground and a cumulonimbus cloud
(ii) Shape of tornado is cylindrical columns/pillars, wedges.
(iii) Speed of tornado is anywhere between 40mph and 360mph.

There are two types of respiration They are: AEROBIC RESPIRATION : When the breakdown of food molecules in the presence of oxygen and release of large amount of energy . ANAEROBIC RESPIRATION: The process of breakdown of food molecules in the absence of oxygen and release of small amount of energy .

Types Of Respiration: There are two types of respiration,
(i) Aerobic Respiration: Aerobic respiration takes place in the presence of oxygen. Carbon dioxide and water are the end products of aerobic respiration. Aerobic respiration happens in most of the organisms.
Glucose (Presence of oxygen) → Carbon dioxide + Water + Energy
Anaerobic Respiration: Anaerobic respiration takes place in the absence of oxygen. Anaerobic respiration usually happens in most of the microbes. Alcohol and carbon dioxide are formed at the end of anaerobic respiration. In some cases, lactic acid is formed at the end of anaerobic respiration.
Glucose (absence of oxygen) → Alcohol + Carbon dioxide + Energy
Glucose (absence of oxygen) → Lactic acid + Energy
Anaerobic respiration also happens in our muscle cells. When someone runs or walks too fast, one may feel a throbbing pain in calf muscles. This happens because of deposition of lactic acid; produced by anaerobic respiration. Once the person takes rest for some time, the pain goes away.

When light passes from one medium to any other medium say air, glass or water then a part of the light is absorbed by particles of the medium preceded by its subsequent radiation in a particular direction. This phenomenon is termed as Scattering of light.
The bending of multicolored light can be seen in the afternoon due to the refraction and total internal reflection of light. The wavelength of the sunlight forms different colors at different direction. Rayleigh scattering theory is reasoned for the red color of the sun in the morning and blue color of the sky.
When light meets a molecule smaller than its wavelength, the electric fields temporarily polarise the molecule, re-distributing the electrons in the molecule such that one end has a weak positive charge, and the other has a weak negative charge. This separation of charges is called a dipole moment. As the oscillating electric fields interact with the molecule, the molecule’s dipole moment oscillates and the molecule re-radiates the light in all directions.

During the day, our earth receives light from the sun and gets heated. Now, during a clear night, that is, when there are no clouds, this heat easily escapes through the atmosphere into space, resulting in cooling of the earth. In cloudy night, the clouds act like a blanket, preventing the heat from escaping into space. Since the heat remains in the atmosphere, cloudy nights are warmer than clear nights.
