Nutrients are replenished by certain different microorganism that are found in the soil or also by the death of certain plants such as the rhizobium plant. The decaying plants tend to slowly break down into the basic soil nutrients over a period of time.

The various methods of weeding are as following:
- Removal of weeds by pulling them out with hand.
- Removal of weeds by using a trowel (khurpa).
- Destroying the weeds by spraying special chemicals called weedicides. Some of the common weedicides are 2.4-D, MCPA and Butachlor. These are sprayed in the fields to kill weeds and do not damage the crops.

The breeze blowing from the sea towards the land is known as sea breeze .
Sea breeze blows during the day and the land heats up faster than the sea. The air on land becomes less dense (i.e.warmer) and rises so the cooler air over the sea which is denser(cooler) flows in to take the place of the warm air, causing a sea breeze.

When the leaves are kept in dark it will become yellow. The reason is that the chlorophyll pigment will be rich and enriched only when it is shown towards the sun light but while placing it in dark the chlorophyll of the plant starts degrading and the pigment will slowly begin to eradicate.
