Vanshika Marwaha 6 years, 3 months ago

Let first angle be =x Let another angle =x because in an isosceles triangle base angles are same Equation= X+X+40=180• =2x+40=180• 2x=180-40 2x=140• X=140/2 X=70• Base angles =70•each

4 saplings are planted

distance between 1st and 2nd sapling= 3/4 m = 0.75 m

similarly distance between 2nd and 3rd sapling = 0.75 m

and for 3rd and 4rth = 0.75 m

hence, distance between 1 st and 4rth sapling = 0.75 + 0.75 0.75 = 2.25 m

Sia ? 4 years, 6 months ago

Taking pi as 3.14 will give an approximate answer. You can do it by taking 22/7 as well
Let the radius be r cm
Circumference will be,
2 r = 2 * 3.14 * r= 6.28r
ATQ,  6.28r- 1r =37
5.28r = 37
r = 37/5.28
r = approx. 7 cm
Area=  r² =  3.14 * 7 * 7 = 154
