πd or 2πr

Yogita Ingle 5 years, 11 months ago

Circumference of the circle or perimeter of the circle is the measurement of the boundary across any two-dimensional circular shape including circle.

The Circumference (or) perimeter of a circle = 2πR

where,

R is the radius of the circle

π is the mathematical constant with an approximate (up to two decimal points) value of 3.14

Again,

Pi (π) is a special mathematical constant, it is the ratio of circumference to diameter of any circle.

where C = π D

C is the circumference of the circle

D is the diameter of the circle

C-154m C-2πr 154m-2×22/7×r 154×7/

Yogita Ingle 5 years, 11 months ago

Given that circumference of circle = 154 m
 i.e 2 π r = 154 ⇒ r = 154 / 2 π
⇒ r = 154 x 7 / 2 x 22.
⇒ r = 49 / 2  = 24.5 m
∴ radius of circle = 24.5 m
Area of circle A = π r2
 A = π x 49 / 2 x 49 / 2  = 3773 / 2

Area = 1886.5 m2 .
