ANSWER :- Once three questions came to the mind of the king, he wanted to know the answers to three questions because of the thought came to his mind that he would never fail if he knew answers to the three questions i.e. what was the right time for every action, who were the most important people and wgat was the most important thing to do.

The king wanted to know the answers to the three questions because he thought that he would never fail once he knew the answers to these questions. Messengers were sent throughout the kingdom to announce a reward for those who could answer the questions. He wanted to be a successful ruler.

The story, ‘The Wind on the haunted hill’ by Ruskin Bond, is a story that depicts values like courage, friendship and survival.

In this story, Usha is on her way home from the bazaar. However, she is compelled to halt her journey because she gets caught in a heavy storm, which is accompanied by thunder and lightning.  

She wants to seek shelter from the storm and goes to the ruins of the Hunted Hill.
