SUMMARY This story is about the good luck of the good couple and about the greedy bad old couple the good couple had no children of their own therefore the dog they had was treated as their own child by them once the dog foun a pile of gold near the field where the good couple works seeing this the greedy people also tried the same but as the dog was afraid of the bad couple it ran out and started to scratch the groun under a pine tree when the couple saw it doing this they started digging the ground but they foun no gold but a pile of dead worms seeing this they killed the dog. After that day the the good old couple dreamt about the dog saying cut down the tree and make a ricemill and a mortar for themselves then they did the same and once when they wanted to make some rice cake they found that the dough have changed into gold seeing this the greedy old couple did the same but the dough became foul pack of worms and they chopped off the rice mill and mortar to use as firewood. Then the old good couple dreamt again about the dog informing them how that bad couple have chopped off the ricemill and the mortar take the ashes and it would bloom the trees. The good couple did the same after some days when the daimios trai was passing from the route of their house the good couple went to a dead cherry tree and pour a pinch of the ashes onto the tree and it bloomed the daimio gifted him many precious things but when the greedy old couple did the same but pouring a handful of ashes onto the tree the tree didn't blossom but the ashes went to the noses of the whole procession and they all beated that greedy old couple to dead. The good old couple lived in a green oldage.
