When we believe that people belonging to particular groups based on religion, wealth, language etc. are bound to have certain fixed characteristics or can only do a certain type of work, we create a stereotype. For example, we see how boys and girls are made to take certain subjects not because of their aptitude but only because they are either boys or girls. Stereotypes prevent us from looking at people as unique individuals.

Q. Who did Patrick's homework ? Ans:- Patrick did his homework himself .

Sristy Saumya 5 years, 6 months ago

Patrick himself

Gaurav Seth 5 years, 6 months ago

It was not the little man but Patrick himself had did his homework as little man did not know anything, in English, maths and human history. Patrick had to consult dictionary, guide him with maths and help him to read too. He stayed up at nights and worked hard. Therefore, it was Patrick who did the homework.

Image

Shadow

Image is formed due to the reflection or refraction of light

Shadows are formed when opaque objects obstruct the path of light.

Image is seen when light comes from the object after reflection or refraction enters the observer's eye.

No light enters the eye from the shadow of the object.

Image gives more information such as colour, structure, etc. about the object.

Shadow does not provide any details about the object but it gives an idea about the shape of the object.

Gaurav Seth 5 years, 6 months ago

Image Shadow
(1) It is formed by intersection of reflected rays. (1) Shadow is formed when light does not reach behind the object.
(2) Image is seen when reflected rays approach to observer's eyes. (2) No light enters the observer's eyes.
