It is within the Royal Borough of Greenwich, to which it lends its name. Historically it was in the county of Kent for hundreds of years, then the County of London from 1889 to 1965. Greenwich is notable for its maritime history and for giving its name to the Greenwich Meridian (0° longitude) and Greenwich Mean Time.

Can anyone tell me that when is the online quiz . I missed the quizzes because I have downloaded this app now . I want to solve the online quiz. I am very interested in online quizzes . I want to solve each and every quiz but unfortunately I missed it . Please tell me . There is very much to express about my feelings and excitement of quiz but I can't express it now or one or two pages will be full. Sorry I have choosen social science because post this message I have to choose one subject and this message is not related to the subjects to which I am talking. Actually this is also not a subject . It's about a quiz which is not mentioned in the list . So please forgive me to choose the wrong subject and write something else that is not related to that subject.

Some people travel because they enjoy travelling. Some people travel to meet relatives and friends on special occasions. Some people travel as a part of their work. When the sun's rays strike Earth's surface near the equator, the incoming solar radiation is more direct (nearly perpendicular or closer to a 90˚ angle). Therefore, the solar radiation is concentrated over a smaller surface area, causing warmer temperatures. The sun's rays striking the earth at a small angle of inclination traverse more of atmosphere than rays striking at a high angle. Longer the path, greater the amount of scattering, reflection and absorption by the atmosphere which reduces the intensity of insolation at the surface.
