There are two processes which lead to formation of different landforms. These processes are; internal process and external process. Internal Process: The earth beneath your feet is continuously moving. ... Deposition: Deposition of materials results in rebuild of the earth's surface. Tectonic plate movement under the Earth can create landforms by pushing up mountains and hills. Erosion by water and wind can wear down land and create landforms like valleys and canyons. Both processes happen over a long period of time, sometimes millions of years.

The Poles experience about six months of day and six months of night because of the tilt of the Earth on its axis. When the Northern hemisphere is tilted towards the Sun, the North Pole is inclined towards the sun, it experiences continuous daylight for six months. These conditions are reversed when the South hemisphere is tilted towards the Sun.

The dictionary definition of migratory bird is a bird that travels from one place to another at regular times often over long distances. ... Most native bird species (birds naturally occurring in the United States) belong to a protected family and are therefore protected by the Migratory Bird Treaty Act. Most of our migrating birds fly to south for winter but for example dipper comes from north to overwinter here in Finland. For example hazel hen, magpie, black woodpecker and siberian jay are resident birds: they spend the winter in north. Crow is one of our partial migrants. There are many different migration patterns. The majority of birds migrate from northern breeding areas in the summer, to southern wintering grounds. However, some birds breed in southern parts of Africa and migrate to northern wintering grounds, or horizontally, to enjoy the milder coastal climates in winter.
