Levers can be used so that a small force can move a much bigger force. This is called mechanical advantage. In our bodies bones act as lever arms, joints act as pivots, and muscles provide the effort forces to move loads. There are four parts to a lever – lever arm, pivot, effort and load. There are three types of levers: first class, second class and third class. The difference between the three classes depends on where the force is, where the fulcrum is and where the load is.

Shadows are formed when opaque objects obstruct the path of light. |
Image is seen when light comes from the object after reflection or refraction enters the observer's eye. |
No light enters the eye from the shadow of the object. |
Image gives more information such as colour, structure, etc. about the object. |
Shadow does not provide any details about the object but it gives an idea about the shape of the object. |

Periodic motion, in physics, motion repeated in equal intervals of time. Periodic motion is performed, for example, by a rocking chair, a bouncing ball, a vibrating tuning fork, a swing in motion, the Earth in its orbit around the Sun, and a water wave.

The Arctic Circle lies at 66 and ½ degree north of the equator. The earth rotates on its orbit around the sun and completes its rotation and revolution. The earth receives the rays of the sun horizontally and we perceive it as vertical.
Some consider the direct rays of sun as vertical rays that are received by the equatorial region. The arctic region receives sunlight for 24 hours in summers, but they are not vertical rays as the sun is at a low elevation from arctic region.

Fabric is a finished product. It could be either knitted or woven. It is wearable.
Whereas, Fibre is a natural product, for eg. Cotton, wool etc. It is not wearable. We have to spun yarn and thread from fibers, which is further woven or knitted into a fabric.
Yogita Ingle 4 years, 6 months ago
Fibre is the material or the ingredient that goes into making fabric. Thus cotton fiber is used to make cotton fabric. The process of converting a fibre into a fabric can be weaving or knitting. For example, wool fibre can be converted into woolen fabrics by making use of weaving to manufacture woolen coats and trousers or it can be used to be converted into sweaters and pullovers through the process of knitting.Fabric is the finished product that we see being sold in textile and dress material shops as well as upholstery shops. On the other hand, fibre is obtained from natural sources such as plants and animals or it could be synthetic, having been made in factories.
