Protein helps in body growth and repairs the tissues so it is also called body building food. We get protein from milk, eggs, meat, fish and all kinds of pulse. Protein molecule is made of a large number of smaller molecules called amino acid. The daily requirement of protein for adults is 1 gram per kilogram of the body weight. When the body is building new tissue, more proteins are required, so growing children and pregnant lady need more protein.

Herbivorous animals or herbivores (herbi, plant; vore, eater) are those that eat only plants and plant products. Cow, deer, horse, giraffe, squirrel, and butterfly are examples of herbivores. Herbivores need a lot of energy to stay alive. Many of them, like cows and sheep, eat all day long. There should be a lot of plants in your ecosystem to support your herbivores.

The rough, fibrous content of food is called roughage. Green vegetables like spinach, cabbage, ladies finger and beans contain a good amount of roughage. Whole grains flour and cereal, potatoes, fresh fruits and raw and cooked vegetables provide roughage in our food. Cellulose is the main constituent of roughage. It helps in proper digestion and prevents constipation.

Air rotating around a large low-pressure system defines a cyclone. Extratropical cyclones create much of the unsettled weather in the middle latitudes of the Earth, while tropical cyclones fueled by warm ocean water represent some of the most violent of all storms. In common usage, “cyclone” refers to a tropical cyclone from a particular part of the world; the same storms, which have winds of 74 miles per hour or greater, are called “hurricanes” and “typhoons” elsewhere.
