Collinear points are the points that lie on the same line. If two or more than two points lie on a line close to or far from each other, then they are said to be collinear, in Euclidean geometry.
In geometry, two or more points are said to be collinear, if they lie on the same line. See the below figure, showing the points lying on the same line.

Intersecting lines are two lines that share exactly one point. This shared point is called the point of intersection. Although we're dealing specifically with lines in this lesson, line segments also intersect where they share a common point. When two or more lines cross each other in a plane, they are called intersecting lines. The intersecting lines share a common point, which exists on all the intersecting lines, and is called the point of intersection. Here, lines P and Q intersect at point O, which is the point of intersection.

The Distributive Property is an algebraic property that is used to multiply a single value and two or more values within a set of parenthesis. The distributive Property States that when a factor is multiplied by the sum/addition of two terms, it is essential to multiply each of the two numbers by the factor, and finally perform the addition operation. This property is symbolically stated as:

A ( B+ C) = AB + AC

Where A, B and C are three different values.

Example: 2(4 + 3) = 2(4) + 2(3)

Perimeter is the distance around the outside of a shape. Area measures the space inside a shape. The formula for the perimeter of a rectangle is often written as P = 2l + 2w, where l is the length of the rectangle and w is the width of the rectangle. The area of a two-dimensional figure describes the amount of surface the shape covers. You measure area in square units of a fixed size. Area is 2-dimensional: it has a length and a width. Area is measured in square units such as square inches, square feet or square meters. To find the area of a rectangle, multiply the length by the width. The formula is: A = L * W where A is the area, L is the length, W is the width, and * means multiply.
