The tongue is a muscular organ in the mouth of most vertebrates that manipulates food for mastication and is used in the act of swallowing. It has importance in the digestive system and is the primary organ of taste in the gustatory system. The tongue also serves as a natural means of cleaning the teeth. Taste buds are sensory organs that are found on your tongue and allow you to experience tastes that are sweet, salty, sour, and bitter. Those tiny hairs send messages to the brain about how something tastes, so you know if it's sweet, sour, bitter, or salty.

this poem, the poet asks the children to run and enjoy themselves. She asks them to go away from the city towards the countryside. She tells them to run into the sun, in the raindrops and under the trees. She calls them out to run down the hillside, up the lanes, through the meadows and then back again.
