The process by which plants make their own food in the presence of sunlight, carbon-dioxide present in air, water, minerals and chlorophyll present in leaves is termed as photosynthesis.
- Plants take up carbon-dioxide from the atmosphere through the tiny pores known as stomata present on thesurface of the leaves and surrounded by ‘guard cells’.
- The process of photosynthesis releases oxygen in the atmosphere during the synthesis of food.

The fir tree in Andersen's ''The Fir Tree'' learns an important lesson about appreciating what we have in the present time rather than focusing on what we don't have or impatiently waiting for the future. Firs symbolism stands for power of determination and perseverance. Celts also appreciated the importance of remembering the past, learning from one's mistakes and cherishing the wonderful times. We need to double the last digit of the number and then subtract it from the remaining number. If the result is divisible by 7, then the original number will also be divisible by 7.
Example:133
In the number 133, double the last digit of the number 3 is 6. 13 – 6 = 7 [Now we need to subtract it from the rest of the remaining number]
Since 7 is divisible by 7.
Hence, 133 is also divisible by 7.
