Flightless birds are birds that through evolution lost the ability to fly. There are over 60 extant species, including the well known ratites (ostriches, emu, cassowaries, rheas and kiwi) and penguins. Ostriches, emus, cassowaries, rheas, and kiwis can't fly. Unlike most birds, their flat breastbones lack the keel that anchors the strong pectoral muscles required for flight. Their puny wings can't possibly lift their heavy bodies off the ground.

Let the original price of the garment be Rs.x.
Cost of garment after reducing 15%=Rs.306
Now according to the question-
x−15% of x=306
⇒x−(15/100 × x)=306
⇒x−3x/ 20 =306
⇒(20x−3x)/20=306
⇒17x=6120
⇒x= 6120/17 =360
Hence the original price of the garment is Rs.360.
