बिटूमिनस (कार्बन की मात्रा 78-86%)

लिग्नाइट (कार्बन की मात्रा 28-30%)

पीट (कार्बन की मात्रा 27%)

जब कोयला जल चुका होता है तो अंत में हमें राख प्राप्त होती है जो की सफेद रंग की होती है |
