गाँधीजी ने धनी से कहा कि वह उनके लिए बिन्नी की देखभाल करे जिससे कि दांडी से लौटकर आने के बाद वह उसका खूब सारा दूध पीकर ताकतवर महसूस करें। धनी को गाँधीजी की यह बात बिल्कुल हुँच गई और वह रुक गया।
हाँ, मैं गांधीजी के तर्क से सहमत हूँ। आश्रम के सभी लोगों को कोई न कोई काम करना होता था। धनी बिन्नी की देखभाल करने के लिए आश्रम में रह गया। बिन्नी की देखभाल करना भी एक काम था।

Lark : I have no water. They all have gone out, & forgotten to give me anything to drink.
My throat is dry & burning. Alas! I must die, & part with the warm sunshine, the fresh green meadows, & all the beauty that God has created.
(Then the lark noticed the little daisy, nodded to it and kissed it with its beak)
Lark : You must also fade in here, poor little flower. You & the piece of grass have given me in the exchange for the whole world which I enjoyed. Each blade of grass shall
be green tree for me & each of your white petals a fragrant flower. Alas! You only remind me of what I have lost.
Daisy : I wish I could console the poor lark. I could not move one of my leaves, but the fragrance of the petals streamed forth & was much stronger.
(The bird noticed it, although it was dying with thirst & it was in pain but did not
forrth the flower).

It is important to conserve resources as many resources are scarce and take millions of years to develop. Over exploitation of resources may exhaust them. Thus, we need to conserve resources. To use the resources carefully and to give time to renew them is known as conservation of resources.
The principle of sustainable development should be followed while utilizing resources. उत्तर: धनी यात्रा पर जाने के लिए इसलिए उत्सुक था क्योंकि वह देश की स्वतंत्रता की लड़ाई में भाग लेना चाहता है। गाँधीजी को अपना सहयोग देना चाहता था। अगर मैं धनी की जगह होता तो मैं भी यात्रा पर जाने की जिद करता क्योंकि धनी की तरह मैं भी जागरूक हूँ।
