A farmer, his wife and their small child lived in a village. There was also a mongoose in the house, who they believed would be their friend in the future and their son's companion. One day the former and his wife went out leaving the child alone with the mongoose. After the wife came from the shop she saw that the mongoose pause and teeth were covered with blood. She stroked the mongoose by her basket, thinking that the mongoose has killed his baby. But in fact the mongoose save the baby from a poisonous snake.
