{tex}\because{/tex} Cost of 12 pens = ₹180
{tex}\therefore{/tex} Cost of 1pen = ₹{tex}\frac{180}{12}{/tex} = ₹15
{tex}\because{/tex} Cost of 8 ball pens = ₹56
{tex}\therefore{/tex} Cost of 1 ball pen = ₹{tex}\frac{56}{8}{/tex} = ₹7
{tex}\therefore{/tex} Ratio of cost of a pen to the cost of a ball pen = {tex}\frac{15}{7}{/tex} = 15 : 7
