To,
The Municipal Commissioner
Raipur
Subject: Complaint against poor sanitary conditions and mosquito menace
Respected Sir/Madam,
I am Anya, am a resident of this city. Respectfully, I would like to bring to your attention the terrible state of water stagnation in our colony as a result of an inadequate sewage and drainage infrastructure. Last year, mosquito-borne diseases such as malaria, dengue fever, and chikungunya claimed many lives.
There were a total of 20 fatalities. Your good self pledged to restore the sewage and drainage system. Despite repeated pleas, reminders, and complaints, no action has been taken to alleviate our distress. We, the residents, have taken all necessary precautions, such as not allowing any water to accumulate in or near our homes in any form. But the water that has accumulated on the highways is beyond our control!
I appeal to you on behalf of the entire colony to look into the situation and act quickly, as the rainy season is approaching. In the event of another delay, the residents intend to contact a national television network and request that a documentary about the unsanitary circumstances in our neighbourhood be produced. It will undoubtedly pique the interest of Central Government officials.
I would appreciate it if you could handle it as soon as possible because it is becoming a hardship to the residents of our community.
Your's faithfully
Sneha.
