Let No of Boys = 9x No of Girls = 7x Sum = 9x + 7x = 16x = 3200 (GIven) Therefore x = 3200/16 = 200 Therefore no of boys = 9x = 9 x 200 = 1800 no of girls = 7x = 7 x 200 = 1400
