Step wise answer ok Total number of pens purchased by Raju for ₹ 150 = 10 So, the cost of 1 pen will be = 150 / 10 = ₹ 15 Also, the total number of pens purchased by Manish in ₹ 84 = 7 pens So, the cost of 1 pen will be = 84 / 7 = ₹ 12 Thus, we observed that the total number of pens purchased by Manish is cheaper than Raju.

Raju perchased Rs for 10 pens = 150. Mahesh perchased Rs for 7 pens = 84 Therefore,the cheapest pen of Rs = 150÷10 = 15 = Raju = 84÷7=12= Mahesh Ans= Mahesh got the cheaper.
