Fungi are a group of living organisms which are classified in their own kingdom. This means they are not animals, plants, or bacteria. Unlike bacteria, which have simple prokaryotic cells, fungi have complex eukaryoticdifferences between the two and both are commonly referred to as „Bread mold‟. only fungal organisms. The organisms found to be associated with the spoilage of bread were strictly fungal organisms which include; Rhizopus spp, Aspergillus spp, Mucor spp, Penicillium spp, and Fusarium spp. cells like animals and plants.
