The divisibility by 11 rule states that if the difference of the sum of the digits at odd places and even places of the number is 0 or divisible by 11, then the given number is also divisible by 11. ... For example, 33/11 = 3 and the remainder is 0. It is easy to do the divisibility test of 11 for smaller numbers.
