Why is tungsten bad conductor of electricity even it is used in bulb. Pls explain

When the filament of the bulb which is made of tungsten is heated due to the high temperature it conducts electricity. Due to high melting point , high temperature doesn't have any adverse effect on it. Due to these characteristics of tungsten , despite being bad conductors of electricity , it is used in bulb
