There are some formulas - Per. of square = 4×side Per. of rectangle = 2(l+b) Per. of equilateral triangle = 3× side per. of regular hexagon = 6× side Per. Of regular pentagon = 5× side Per. of regular octagon = 8×side

A rectangle is a quadrilateral which has two pairs of parallel sides equal and all the four angles at the vertices are right angles

The perimeter we know, the perimeter of a rectangle, P = 2 ( a+b) units

where

“a” is the length of the rectangle

“b” is the breadth of the rectangle
