The length of the board=4m

The breadth of the board=3m

Area of the board=l×b=4×3=12m^2

Side of square=0.5m

Area of the square=0.5×0.5=0.25m^2

The number of tiles required for flooring is Area of the board÷Area of each square

=>12/0.25=48

Therefore the number of tiles required is 48.
