Gravity is a force that attracts a body towards the centre of the earth, or towards any other physical body having mass.
Every object that has mass exerts a gravitational pull or force on every other mass. The strength of this pull depends on the masses of objects at play. Gravity is what keeps the planets in orbit around the sun and the moon around the Earth
