general, meat-eating carnivores have teeth for tearing and skulls capable of biting with great force, while the plant-eating herbivores have teeth and skulls equipped to grind tough vegetation. All the teeth of a herbivore are molars and premolars. These teeth help the animal to chew and grind the food properly--- grass in this case---- therefore these teeth help herbivores to eat there food.
