    Difference between metals and non-metals:

    Metals

    Non-metals
    1. Metals are malleable and ductile.

     

    1. They are good conductors of heat and electricity.
    2. They are hard.
    3. They are lustrous.
    4. They are sonorous.

    Difference between metals and non-metals:

    2. They react with water to produce hydrogen gas except copper, silver and gold.
    3. They react with dilute acids to produce hydrogen gas except copper, silver and gold.
