Dengue is the most common vector-borne viral disease in the world, causing an estimated 50 to 100 million infections globally each year and 25,000 deaths. Furthermore, diseases that are spread to people via mosquitoes are namely chikungunya, dengue fever, malarial fever and rarely seen infections like yellow fever and Zika virus disease. To top it all, monsoon is underway and diseases like chikungunya, dengue, and malaria are prevalent in these conditions.
