METAL: A object which is hard, sonorous, ductile, malleable, shiny, good conductors of heat and electricity is called as metals. Ex: gold, silver, iron, etc. NON-METALS: A object which is soft, non-sonorous, non-ductile, non-maleable, bad conductors of heat and electricity are called as non-metals. Ex: oxygen, carbon, sulfur, etc.

A solid material which is typically hard,shiny, malleable, fusible & ductile, with good electricity & thermal conductive.eg.iron, gold, silver, aluminium & alloys such as steel.
