Al Bruni was a great Persian Muslim scholar of 10th and 11th century.He was born in 973 in Khwarazm(Uzbekistan). He was well versed in physics, mathematics, natural science and astronomy.
He was also distinguished in history, chronology and linguistics. He travelled to India and became most important interpreter of Indian science to the Islamic world.
