We have been given that,

Height of the 1stpole is 8m

Shadow of the 1stpole is 6m

Shadow of the 2nd pole is 30m

To find the height of the 2nd pole

Shadow of the 2nd pole = Shadow of the 1st pole×5

                                         =6×5

                                          =30m

On similar lines,Height of the 2nd pole=Height of the 1st pole×5

                                                                 =8×5

                                                                 =40metres

Therefore,Height of the pole is 40metres
