Modern period is a period beginning in the last quarter of the 20th century when information became easily accessible through publications and through the manipulation of information by computers and computer networks. In the history of Europe, the early modern period follows the Medieval period. It begins around the Fall of Constantinople in 1453, and includes the Renaissance period, and the Age of Discovery. It includes the discovery of America, and the discovery of the sea route to the East. There are many features of the modern era in Europe such as Science, literature and, art and many things. It can be defined as the age of globalisation and discovery. It was reason for the great rise of the European powers. It also increased the power of European over the colonial powers.
