Reproduction is defined as the creation of a copy of something, a copy of something, or the act of sexual intercourse to create an offspring. An example of a reproduction is a copied drawing. Reproduction is the process of formation of new individuals by sexual or asexual means. There are two types of reproduction- Asexual reproduction and Sexual reproduction. Whereas in asexual reproduction the offspring is identical to the parent as there is no mixing of male and female gametes. The purpose of reproduction is to propagate one's own genes. Evolutionarily, asexual reproduction is a good deal for the parent. It is quick, simple, and the genes of the parent will not be diluted by those of another individual.
