Scavenger is an animal which feed on dead plants and animals. Eg-vulture Insects are decomposers. If all insects disappeared then you will see a lot of dead things lying here and there. They feed on fleash and bones of dead animals, plants, human beings. They are also called pesticides. Other examples are bacteria, virus, protozoa etc.
