The mustard plant with edible part as seed and leaf is used widely. The mustard seeds are used as species. The seeds are pressed to make mustard oil and edible leaves are consumed as mustard greens. Gourd refers to the fruits of plants in the two Cucurbitaceae genera Lagenaria and Cucurbita, or also to their hollow, dried-out shell. A gourd can also have a hard shell when dehydrated.
