Parasitic mode of nutrition is that mode of nutrition in which Parasites depend on living organisms to obtain their food. As, parasites are those living organisms which live on other organisms for their food, they depend on living organisms not non living or dead animals Eg: Mistletoe cuscuta,etc. Whereas, scavengers are those animals which eat dead and decaying animals and help in maintaining the earth clean Eg: vulture
