My question is: sodium metal is reactive with water but salt is also comtaining sodium so why it didn't react in water

That is really a very impressive question. I was thing what should , i answer and now i got the answer. It is because in the salt there are many types of edible chemicals or substances which we, can eat because of these substances sodium does not react with acids okk..
