Sol: Let the cost of a notebook = x Rs.
Let the cost of a pen = y Rs.
Thus, according to the question:

Cost of notebook = twice the cost of pen
x = 2 x y
Ans => {tex}\huge \boxed {x = 2y }{/tex}
