The SI unit of length is a metre. Each metre is divided into 100 equal divisions called centimetre (cm). Each centimetre has ten divisions called millimetre (mm). Thus, 1m = 100 cm 1cm = 10 mm Kilometre is a larger unit of measuring length or distance. 1 km = 1000m.
