This poem is tring to raise the problem of discrimination. Before ,women didnt get a share of their fathers or husbands property. It used to be equally distributed among their sons or given to their male siblings if there is no male next of kin. But, after the hindu succession amendment act , all women get an equal share of their fathers and husbands property. But this only happens when there is no official will.
