<a href="https://googleweblight.com/i?u=https://www.boundless.com/chemistry/definition/electrolyte/&hl=en-IN">Electrolytes</a> are <a href="https://googleweblight.com/i?u=https://www.boundless.com/chemistry/definition/salt/&hl=en-IN">salts</a> or <a href="https://googleweblight.com/i?u=https://www.boundless.com/chemistry/definition/molecule/&hl=en-IN">molecules</a> that ionize completely in <a href="https://googleweblight.com/i?u=https://www.boundless.com/chemistry/definition/solution/&hl=en-IN">solution</a>. As a result, electrolyte solutions readily conduct electricity.
<a href="https://googleweblight.com/i?u=https://www.boundless.com/chemistry/definition/nonelectrolyte/&hl=en-IN">Nonelectrolytes</a> do not dissociate into <a href="https://googleweblight.com/i?u=https://www.boundless.com/chemistry/definition/ion/&hl=en-IN">ions</a> in solution; nonelectrolyte solutions do not, therefore, conduct electricity.
