Controversial laws are laws that are not widely accepted by the people and may spark a general debate about there constitutional legality-meaning they may or may not be violating the constitutional requirements . Annually parliament introduces new laws that are known as unpopular laws. When these laws are not accepted by the people and are felt to be unfair they face criticism. Such laws which are unfair to any group are called controversial laws. People can criticize the unpopular law, hold public meetings, and write about it in newspaper report to 74 news channels. In their way, citizens can express their unwillingness to accept repressive laws framed by the Parliament.
