The Indian secularism is different from that of the dominant United States of America by the following ways - 1. In India the state can interfere into religional affairs but in the USA there is a strict seperation between the state and religion. 2. In India there is some amount of partiality and biasness but in the USA there is no such issues andthere they all are considered to be one and equal.

While the Indian State follows the strategy of positive intervention, the American State strictly follows the policy of the separation of religion from politics and does not interfere in the religious activities of any religion. The same is the case with France.
