बिम्बाणु (प्लेटलैट कण) की कमी डेंगू बीमारी में पाई जाती है।

बिम्बाणु, या प्लेटेलेट, या थ्रॉम्बोसाइट, रक्त में उपस्थित अनियमित आकार की छोटी अनाभिकीय कोशिका (यानि वे कोशिकाएं, जिनमें नाभिक नहीं होता, मात्र डीएनए ही होता है) होती है, व इनका व्यास २-३ µm होता है।
