Gold ,silver & diamonds are used in jeweler because Metals like gold, silver, platinum etc. Have lustre ,and these are less reactive, these metals cannot react with air water and acids and these metals are malleable and ductile. Due to these properties these metals are called noble metals and they are used in jewelers.Diamond is an allotrope of carbon. It is very hard and have high refractive index. Hence it is used in jewelers.

Platinum, gold and silver are placed at the bottom of the activity series and are very little reactive in nature known as noble metals. They are not even affected by air, water and even by chemicals. Since they have bright lusture, we can use them for making jewellery.
