Karl Marx was a German philosopher. He took the world by storm when he published 'The Communist Manifesto'. This work introduced the concept of socialism.
Karl Marx influenced many with his ideas. He said that workers worked day and night in factories. It is because of their efforts that a industrialist earns profit. But this profit is not shared by him. Workers earn low wages throughout their lives and live in poverty. Marx suggested class struggle pointing out that workers have to fight to earn their rights and profits.
Marx theory inspired workers all over the world. Many leading thinkers of the time were influenced by his ideologies and suggested the path to socialism.
Infact, the Russian Revolution in 1917 was inspired by Marx's ideologies.
