A fresh potato has modified thickened roots with stored food which are called root tubers. The root tubers of potato have buds on them which give rise to new plants. The common bread mould plant and fungi reproduces by method of spore formation.

Suitable temperature, water (moisture), air (oxygen) and and sunlight are necessary conditions for seed germination.
